Collection and Processing of Personal Data

Personal data is any information related to a person: name, email, address, phone, NIF/NIE… Additionally, when a User visits our website, certain information is automatically stored for technical reasons, such as the IP address assigned by your Internet service provider. “Greenwich Náutica”, as the Data Controller, has the duty to inform the Users of its website about the collection of personal data that can be carried out, either by sending an email or by filling out the forms included on the website.

Only the data necessary to perform the contracted service, or to adequately respond to a request for information made by the User, will be obtained. The collected data are identification data and correspond to a minimum reasonable to carry out the activity performed. In particular, no specially protected data are collected at any time. Contact Forms/Email

Purpose: To respond to your request for information made through our contact form(s).

Newsletter Subscription Forms

Purpose: Sending communications, some of them commercial, of interest to the Users according to the blog theme. As established by the LSSICE, “Greenwich Náutica” commits to not sending commercial communications without identifying them as such. For these purposes, information sent to clients to maintain the existing contractual relationship, if any, will not be considered commercial communication.

Contracting Forms

Purposes:

– Upon registering on the platform (account validation email).
– The instructions for its use.
– Necessary notifications to manage the contracts, such as proofs of the same, incidents, etc.
– Website newsletter if subscribed to it (the User can unsubscribe in their private area and in the links included at the bottom of each newsletter).
– For password recovery.
– When unsubscribing or deleting the account.

Data Transfer: “Greenwich Náutica” will not transfer or communicate your data to any third party, except in legally provided cases or when strictly necessary for the provision of a service. Specifically, data may be transferred to:

Minors

Only individuals over the age of 14 may provide personal data on this website. As required by the LOPD and GDD, in the case of minors under

14 years, the consent of their parents or guardians is a mandatory condition for us to process their personal data. Moreover, only individuals over the age of 18 may contract our services. In the case of minors under 18 years, the consent of their parents or legal guardians is a mandatory condition for us to provide the offered services, unless the minor is emancipated.

User Registration – Passwords

To contract the services offered on this website, registration as a User is necessary. For this, the User must fill out the corresponding form, initially collecting the following information:

They must communicate to “Greenwich Náutica” any unauthorized use of their account or password as soon as possible.

Once registered, the User has access to a private panel, where they can view certain content, record of reservations or contracts made, access to the private classroom, chat to communicate with teachers, etc. They can also manage account options, such as the password, User data, or complete their profile data or upload an image.

The User may receive the following notifications:

– Upon registering on the platform (account validation email).
– Necessary for managing purchases or contracts, such as the proofs of the same, incidents, etc.
– Notices related to the formative development and instructions for using the platform.
– Website newsletter if subscribed to it (the User can unsubscribe in their private area and in the links included at the bottom of each newsletter).

– Notices of comments or private emails from other students or teachers.

The personal data collected in the forms are processed only by the staff of “Greenwich Náutica” or the Data Processors appointed.

Veracity of the Data

The User declares that all the data provided by them are true and correct and commits to keeping them updated. Exercise of User Rights

The LOPD and GDD and the GDPR grant interested parties the possibility to exercise a series of rights related to the processing of their personal data. To do this, the User must address, providing documentation that proves their identity (DNI or passport), through email to cursos@greenwichnautica.es, or by written communication to the address that appears in our Legal Notice. Such communication should reflect the following information: User’s name and surname, the purpose of the request, the address and the supporting data.

The exercise of rights must be performed by the User themselves. However, they can be executed by a person authorized as the legal representative of the User, providing the documentation that proves such representation.
