Get your medical certificate in Javea
To obtain the Spanish Boat License, you must also secure a medical certificate from a Medical Certification Center (centro de reconocimiento médico). This is a straightforward process, very similar to the medical exam required for car drivers. The exam typically costs between €25 and €40 and takes about 15 minutes to complete.
We’ve chosen a few centers in Jávea for your medical exam, available in Spanish and English. Some centers may also offer services in French; please check with them directly to confirm. You can complete this exam before or after your boat license course. Remember, we must receive your medical certificate before issuing your boat license, as this is crucial for meeting safety and regulatory requirements.
